She's headstrong, pushy and takes pride in being intimidating, often relying on her looks and power to ward off any potential foes, like the overprotective and fiercely loyal Pokemon she is; however, when not in the face of danger, Garchomp will allow (a select few) people to see her more loving and playful side, usually small children and Cynthia's closest friends. She has also kept a few traits from her previous evolutionary forms, such as Gabite's love for shiny things and, more terrifyingly, Gible's need to display affections by means of love bites.

Other: Togekiss was the first Pokemon Cynthia ever had hatch from an egg, and he has not stopped being a big baby ever since. He's demanding, a little bit spoiled and, while not jealous at all of her friends, he absolutely will not let anyone approach his trainer with second intentions until he's made sure they're deserving of her; on occasion, he'll go as far as purposefully spiting anyone he dislikes, though it comes off as more playful than mean. Otherwise, Togekiss simply loves to love and be loved; he is, by far, Cynthia's most affectionate Pokemon, often getting carried away in demonstrating such - tackles and spine-snapping hugs mean love, you know.

Other: Found during one of Cynthia's travels in search of living myths, Spiritomb was the one Pokemon to have ever given the Champion the most trouble due to the malevolent nature of the 108 spirits she's composed of. With time and a lot of effort, though, she came to learn the meaning of kindness thanks to Cynthia's ever nurturing personality, and has become a very loyal member of her team, though still unwilling to befriend others. Her sense of mischief has remained, often showing in the form of pranks and the occasional tormenting of certain Pokemon from a certain Elite - she reckons Psychic types are too weak to be part of the League.

Other: Roserade was the first Pokemon Cynthia caught in the wild, having evolved from a Budew to Roselia in a matter of weeks. She's sweet, friendly and, while not as overly affectionate as Togekiss, quick to grow fond of and very willing to show her affection for others, usually by performing a dance and offering a shower of festive blossoms or by tickling them, though the latter is reserved for very close acquaintances. She can get carried away on occasion, though, having once filled up a room with so many petals people could barely move and accidentally released toxins from her arms while engaging in tickle wars, poisoning her trainer.

Other: Under Cynthia's care, Milotic has come from a previously rejected Feebas with very little self esteem to a strong, beautiful Pokemon that borders slightly on the conceited side. She's a kind-hearted, peaceful Pokemon who prefers Contests over battles, though that's is also partially so she can show off her looks. Despite that, she is deadly in the battlefield, often single-handedly taking down half of the oppenent's team - and then twirling in the air in celebration, as though still in a Contest. Milotic is also very fond of singing, and during nights of troubled sleep, she will wrap her sinuous body around her trainer and lull her into a quiet slumber.

Other: Lucario is the only one of Cynthia's Pokemon who can communicate telepathically with her, though he's not much of a talker, to begin with. He's proud, quiet and down-to-earth, with a sense of responsibility that far surpasses his trainer's - he often lectures her about tidying up her place, to no avail. He also has an urge for justice, a trait that Cynthia shares, and one of the reasons why he quickly became attached to her and evolved from Riolu at a relatively fast pace. Because he can understand human language, Lucario can sometimes be found reading the Champion's books and encouraging her studies, having even developed an interest for old tales.

She's lazy, whimsical and goofy, always opting for fun and games over training and work, if given the choice - though she will never refuse to practice when asked. Being funny is what she does best, and her idea of cheering anyone up - even when not needed - often includes some slapstick comedy, sometimes resorting to the help of her Pokemon friends - without their consent. Gastrodon is pretty much a zen creature, and it takes quite a lot to get any resemblance of anger from her - except maybe for boredom, as that is something she can't stand.
